See what happens when I ask my boys to "smile" for a photo! These days it is impossible for them (mostly Sam) to sit still for one minute to take a photo...but I guess the results are always fun!
Well, this year was a special Easter for us...many things to be thankful for and to look forward to. First and foremost we were very happy to have Daddy back home after his health scare a week before. When things happen like that it forces you to put things in perspective and we are very lucky to have our family and all of the blessings that surround us. In the next couple of weeks we will be welcoming a new little boy into the family (did you see the size of my baby belly) and it seems surreal that God has blessed us again. The boys couldn't be happier about their new baby brother.
This year the boys were particularly exited for Easter. It was kind of strange to see them stay up till midnight talking about the Easter Bunny and chocolate eggs. They have never been that excited for Santa Claus...I guess you should never underestimate the power of chocolate eggs and candy. They were chomping at the bit to start the Easter Egg Hunt...here is Sam with one of his first finds.
They are really growing up so fast. I know I say that all the time and everyone says that about their kids, but when it unfolds before your eyes it is hard to believe and you can't help but miss the babies you had just a little while ago.
Sam...never boring in a photo! You can't really ask him to smile...if you do he grinds his teeth together and it makes for interesting snapshots.
We hope you had a great Easter in your corner of the world. Here in Chile it is the beginning of autumn and it is strange to celebrate this "spring" holiday when all the leaves are turning different colors and falling on the ground...but really the colors are beautiful this time of year so we will take it.
Until the next post....lately they are few and far between.
